Premier Care Urgent Care centers provide care for life's mini-emergencies. Many people are unfamiliar with what urgent care is exactly. For patients on their way to the emergency room with an acute illness of moderate severity, Premier Care provides an alternative to the emergency room and quick access to a doctor's care. Premier Care physicians are board certified in emergency medicine and are the physicians you would see in the emergency department, but by practicing in the urgent care setting, allow patients access to a kinder, gentler way to receive emergency care!
Premier Care Urgent Care centers are all equipped with on-site digital x-ray, a laboratory that can provide rapid testing for various illnesses, such as the flu or strep throat, and equipment needed to treat common orthopedic injuries as well as wounds requiring stitches. In addition, our sites can give intravenous fluids, antibiotics, and other medications when needed. Our doctors can see patients of all ages, from pediatric to adult to geriatric. At Premier Care we refer our patients back to their primary care providers to maintain the continuity of care. Patients with life-threatening conditions, such as a stroke or symptoms of a heart attack should call 911 and go directly to the nearest ER.
